Scott Schaffer will be leading training program specifically for nonprofit CEOs this fall: Strategic Financial Management for Nonprofit Executives. This daylong workshop addresses a critical responsibility with many nuances: designing and leading your organization’s financial strategy. We’ll be offering it in Seattle and Sacramento.
Strategic financial management involves actively building, monitoring and adjusting the organization’s business model. Successful CEOs must get their arms around their organization’s financial strengths, weaknesses, risks and opportunities, and keep long-term sustainability in the scope. Using a combination of case studies and real-world financial data, this session is hands-on and discussion-oriented. It’s designed to help executive directors carry out this essential role.
